TOY: RE: Solid axle swap steering ?s and parts for sale
It is possible to keep the '85 steering, but probably more trouble than it's
worth. You'd obviously have to change steering boxes, which means drilling
additional holes in the frame. Then dealing with the inferior "how short
can a drag link really be" steering.
You have one of the major costs of crossover steering already covered....the
IFS steering box. I say go crossover right from the start.
