TOY: Wooden beds...

Due to my severe rust problem, i have decided to scrap the toyota bed in 
favor of a home made one. Id appreciate it if anyone who has a wood bed or 
knows of a good site explaining how to make one could pass it along.  Id like 
it to look good, but i understand that its wood. We were thinking of 
incorporating the existing bedliner into it, so we did not have to use as 
much wood to keep the little parts from falling through.  Anyone  ever done 
this?
