TOY: RE: Blown Probe

As a Christmas present my father-in-law gave me a 1993 Ford Probe GT (5spd,
loaded).  The engine was run low on oil and is locked up, otherwise the car
is in good shape.  My question is, what would you do with it?  I can't find
an inexpensive replacement engine (2.5L V6)

Correct me if I'm wrong (like I had to tell you guys that) but isn't the
Probe engine a Mazda engine?  I'm pretty sure it is.  You could probably
use the engine out of a Mazda MX6 as it's the same as a Probe.  Just trying
to give you some additional options.  Where are you located?  If you're
lucky enough to be near Houston or Austin, TX one of my cousins may be able
to find an engine for you.
