Re: TOY: CT26 adapting to 22RTE manifold
Hey Jeff,
The motor will be getting a rebuild over the next year. I also need to get
the CT26 rebuilt as it has some play in the shaft. The MR2 CT26 is
different somehow and I've heard isn't as good. But I will investigate to
see if the cast elbow that bolts to the turbo is at a better angle on the
MR2. I know that Greddy and a few other places make downpipes for Supra
Turbos so they might be able to supply me with a flange also.
The RTE will be out tomorrow hopefully. Hey I found a good way to get a 2"
lift for the 4Runner, pull the automatic transmission/transfer out!!!

I know there was some debate as to whether the turbo automatic and transfer
case were integral or could be separated. Let me be the one to tell you
they are ALL ONE unit and really suck pulling out by yourself.
I'll keep ya posted!!
