No I'm talking about the 460 which I had in a '93. Haven't sat behind a v10
so I'm in the dark about that one. I'm just partial to diesels, I like the
low end power. I really don't have a problem with the smell or noise, you
can't really hear it much from inside the cab.
Speaking of costing the diesel, is that with a loaded or unloaded rig? I
realize unloaded the mileage isn't too bad on a gas motor but if you get
10k lbs behind it I'm betting that the numbers would be different. Also
resale of Power Stokes around here have a much higher value than the gas
motors. Plus the added maintenance with the ignition system on a gas motor
( I know it's not that bad ). No big debate, like I said I'm just partial
to them.
