You wanna know the secret to the V10?  I had to scour the towing sites for 
this one, and it really works...

Keep it under 2k on the tach.

I like to cruise the interstate on my 30 plus mile commute to work every 
morning at about 80 mph.  Doing so however guarantees poor mileage.  If I 
keep it under 2k rpm (about 69 mph on my 2wd truck) the mileage SOARS.

My wife actually has the best mileage on a tank of gas - she squeazed 15.9 
mpg out of it... TWICE!  I may just let her drive from now on ;-)

BTW, I did keep exact mileage records for over 9,000 miles and about 5 
months, so my figures are pretty much dead on...
