==> Hi SeaBass,

As I understand it, [from the local Toyota Parts Dept. dude "Eddie" ],
the post 1988 4cyl trucks & post 1989 4cyl 4Runners have a different
spline count ? The bolt pattern and sizes of the Pressure plate, Clutch disk,
and Bearings are a bit different.

Note: { don't take this as the "Gospel Truth" } I was Very Surprised, as was
Tim,
that the OEM Clutch Parts for the 1984 4cyl. 22R would Not work with the 1994
22RE 4cyl.

==> Would another "Toyota Parts Professional" care to clarify this matter for:
Tim, SeaBass, Me [ M.D. Smith, V ], and Everyone else out here in Toyota land ?

Uh, I *hope* that I have Not opened an Industrial size Can-of-worms here. :o )
 Responses, Replies, Hints ? Anyone?
Happy Trails,

Dee

<snip> It seems that these clutch parts will fit 22R and 22RE
 engines from 1984 thru 1988.
 [ Tim's Toyota 4wd is a 1994, so I am reimbursing him for these parts.]

 (These Clutch parts fit 4wd Toyota 22R & 22RE model years 1984 thru 1988.)

==> This kit consists of:
 1. Clutch Disk
 2. Pressure Plate
 3. Through out Bearing
 4. Pilot Bearing
Bonus:  I am including a
New OEM Toyota Clutch Slave Cylinder at No additional cost! :o )
