Yes, using the chevy tranny will save you money. I would have gone that
route but I wasn't sure if it would fit without a body lift. (I now have
one though). I also used the factory wiring for the chevy motor. Additional
costs that I did not include in my last post: P/S cooler and lines, P/S
line modifications to mate Chevy pump to toyota gear box.
