Yep.. I am aware of this trick and made a decision not to mention it. I
wouldn't notch the bracket with the line still in it so for me the line
would still have to be detached.
I also wanted to keep my directions as newbie friendly as possible.
I also haven't done this to myself so ethically I couldn't suggest it
either.
Though it sounds like it would be excellent for 'field repairs'
