TOY: Re: RE: IFS 4x's

How much flex? Gotta pay to play... but if you don't want feet of
travel, flex isn't very expensive. If you want feet, you'll need coin.
Drew Persson (http://www.perssonoffroad.com) has lowpro IFS
bumpstops good for probably 7-8" (Drew?) on an otherwise
stock suspension. I've got a travel kit good for 8-9" on a 4" lift
kit equipped suspension... but my travel kit won't work with a
stock suspension.
And if you want feet of flex... WCOR, ATS, Baja Concepts, or I
can supply you... but it's far from cheap. I just got a quote on a
potential new product... something I was hoping to have on the
market around now, and the quote came in *seven hundred
dollars* higher than I expected. On a part that's already awful
expensive (I've got probably a grand in it already, but that's on
a prototype that's been redone a couple times) but that will net
me an IFS stronger than a Toy straight axle, from hub to hub.
