TOY: long travel driveshaft conversion? (part 2)

The saga continues...

I just called South Bay Driveline (ad off of 4x4wire) and they said they 
can't convert my current driveshaft to long travel, and a new one will run me 
$350 delivered, with some rediculous long travel measurements (not a bad deal 
if I didn't already have this shaft)...

Hmmm... a few more calls to other places  tomorrow, but it looks like I will 
just send this one back to Tom Woods to be converted...

I think I may still use my spare shaft to try to make a long travel shaft of 
my own as another spare - can't hurt ;-)
