==> Hey Karl,
Call me "simple" or what you will, however I used the Auto-Zone pads and go
through brake pads with my 1986 4Runner pretty quick 2-3 sets per year. My
1986 4Runner was an Automatic with 22R EFI. My current 1991 4Runner with the
3.0L V-6 / Automatic trans. 4WD seems to go through the front pads fast too.
I just had, ( 5 weeks ago), Toyota brake pads installed on my '91 4Runner.
The service manager "claims" that the OEM pads will last longer.
We Shall See. ; ^)
