I have, sitting in my garage, a centered-diff, FJ40 width, six lug,
metric studded, redrilled-drum-brake-equipped, 31-spline Ford
9" axle... utterly useless to most folks, except maybe yourself. I
don't know what you'd want to do about the low pinion, though, I
suspect a Currie high-pinion 8.8/9" hybrid would work well for
that. I'll sell it, drum-to-drum complete, with a 3.50 open diff (I
know, that diff isn't worth anything but the third member casting)
for a whopping hundred bucks, but I won't ship it. Might be a
good rear end for a drag car too... already narrowed to fit those
big-ol-fatty slicks under a Camaro.... :)
