Re: TOY: NV4500 & PU x-fer in LC?
Sorry to tell you, but your LC driveshaft is very short and you won't be able to
use an off-set pumpkin with mini-truck x-fer. You might be able to trade for the
LC x-fer and adapter. Here's a couple of links that may help:

Subject: TOY: NV4500 & PU x-fer in LC?
Listers,
I recently picked up a NV4500 tranny, AA adapter, 85 PU x-fer case,
bellhousing and slavecylinder combo for real cheap. And my question for you
know is if the x-fer case is strong enough to withstand the abuse of the
Landcruiser with a TBI 350 motor. If I can use this setup I would much
rather do that than find a LC 3-sp and a new adapter for the NV. I know I
might have issues with the offset rear end but I'm hoping I can make up for
it in the driveshaft.
Although if this doesn't work out for some unforseen reason I will probably
sell the adapter and x-fer case if anyone is interested.
Thanks,
Ron Clark
