If the NV and adapter are close to the same length as the stock 5 speed and tailshaft housing you'll
have some extreme U-J angles in the rear coupled with a very short drive shaft. A friend tried to do
this with his LC.
Not sure of the wisdom of putting a stock 5 speed behind a V8, but that was his choice.
