Angle grinder?  Sledgehammer... all you should need to do (I'd think)
would be to hammer the firewall flat, and they should fit OK.  Those
narrow tires clear a lot of stuff that you wouldn't think they should.

Have you considered putting in a body lift between now and then?  I
suspect you can pick up a 2" body lift for under a hundred bucks,
and I'm pretty confident that you can put it on one evening after work
if you're needing a little more height.  On the timeframe you're on,
you won't have time to find out if you need it, till it's too late... unless
you take it with you and install it in camp (?) at the UnGathering.
