My friend Craig tows his 28' fifth wheel trailer (with the
Toyzuki inside) with a Chevy 454 SS pick-up. I know the
trailer/Toyzuki combo weighs more than the truck. The secret
is good trailer brakes and proper weight distribution. Fifth
wheels are a lot more tolerant of the trailer weighing more
than the tow vehicle. Stopping will always be an issue, but
the stability of a fifth wheel trailer is far superior to a
tag trailer.
