Tee hee... I have friends who won't drive my truck because
they're afraid they'll set off some James Bond-ish something
in the cab by switching a switch that they don't know what it
does. The admonishment I gave my fiancee when she did
finally hop behind the wheel was pretty simple: "If you don't
know what it is, *and* what it does, don't touch it!"
It was pretty funny for a while... I had five levers, a knob, a
handful of switches....
Now I've got three or four different kinds of switches, three
levers, a knob, a valve, indicating lights, gauges, all kinds
of fun stuff... and driving down the trail, I'm madly shifting
all of them, with lights blinking, buzzer-like devices rattling,
levers back and forth, air, steam, and smoke escaping,
good grief. I didn't realize what I'd become... I *am* the
Wizard of Oz... :)
