TOY: body lift and will v6 gears fit 4cyl
Guys,
I am supposed to finally put on my body lift. I remembered someone
suggested placing Stainless steel 3" x 3" squares that are 3/32" thick
between the body and blocks or bushings. It seems to me that the 3 inch
squares may be too large. What size should I get them cut and how many
will I need for my 94 x-tra cab pu. I counted 12 blocks so I am assuming
that there are twelve mounting positions that will need the SS plates. AM
I correct?
Also I am switching from stock 4:11 to 4:88 in my V6. Can the gears that I
am taking out be used in a 92 4 cylinder? I read in the NWOR catalog that
the V6 gears are 25% larger than the 4 cyl ones. What is the story behind
this? Can the V6 gears be swapped into the 4 cyl?
Thanks,
Scott
