Excellent points David.
I noticed while wheeling with the MTA guys last week while they were
preparing for Mud-in-yur-eye that Desmond (trail leader for the event I
think) was running this type of bead lock. They won't do much for ya
if you're looking for that 'flashy look' (snicker, snicker :-) but
they sure seem practical!
What does your friend think about balancing them? Do they balance well?
