Well, not in my case. This is all in conjunction with a 9" axle swap with
custom axles (I am sooo forgetful about some details). Anyway, it would seem
to me to be more practical to turn down the axle hub pilot (something you'd
have to do once) rather than the rotor which you'd have to do with every new
replacement. I do plan in checking out the possibilites of doing a similar
swap with the stock Toyota axle while I have mine apart later this month.

I considered this and will check to see if my caliper bracket design will
mount up these calipers as well. I already have a design in the works for a
hydraulic/mechanical e-brake on the transfer case utilizing either a Honda
or Subaru caliper/rotor and the stock Toyota clutch MC. Speaking of which,
did that vary in size at all over the years??? The one I have I figure will
operate a single small caliper OK, but bigger may be better. I am not
looking for enough braking to equal the main system, just enough to slow the
truck should the other brakes go out at a bad time. (Been there, done that,
don't want to return :-)
