OK, I have the FJ-40 rotors and 4cyl calipers. At least I assume that they
are four cylinder as the piston bores match my originals and the caliper is
smooth, no fins of any kind. Two of three sets of wheels rub the caliper
(the fourth hasn't been tried yet).

First set: American racing white spoke, 15×8, 4" backspace: rubbed but was
rectified with a little bit (<1/16") of grinding.

Second set: 15×10 American Racing white spoke,4" backspace: no rubbing but
this may be because of the previous grinding done to accomodate the smaller
rims.

3rd set: 15×8 AR767 with unknown backspace: rubbed enough to necessitate the
addition of 5/16" spacers even after the aforementioned grinding. These
rubbed due to the curl stamped into the holes in the rim.
