hours needed to replace timing chain?
I have decided to take a job in Colorado and will be moving soon (I am
in Utah now). I really want to take my 4Runner out there but the chain
guides have broken and I am running out of time before I have to go.
What I am wondering is this: Is replacing the timing chain on my '85
something I can do on a long Saturday or should I allow two days? Any
opinions?
I can't really have it in pieces when moving time comes. Right now it
still runs well enough to drive onto a trailer. If I have to I can take
my pickup out there and move the 4Runner with my household stuff later.
Thanks for any help,
Allan Davis
