I know the feeling! I have been working on my swap now since November! I
go in spurts where I do really good for a while, probably a little too
good - and end up burning myself out. Then I don't feel much like working
on the truck for a little while. I am working on the truck at my parent's
house which is about 20 minutes from my apartment and it definately makes
things harder - not living where your shop is!
I have also had items that have had me a little frustrated to the point
where I have just let the whole thing sit and not worked on it for weeks! I
did not know what to do about the radiator for a LONG time, but yesterday I
got the problems worked out! I have also been stalling on the fuel system
since I am not really an "expert" in this area. I managed to get a friend
from work to stop by and help me out with it. It is almost complete - and
is definately a far cry from a hack job! It actually looks relatively
factory!
It is nice to be able to run things past fellow listers sometimes. I have
asked a million questions and have definately come out of it knowing more
than I have ever known about engine swaps (or probably wanted to know for
that matter!).
Hang in there! Keep us posted on the progress!
