Re: Re: Torsion Bars
I have the 26mm Downey bars on my 86 4Runner. I really like them. They
handle big bumps really well. They beat the hell out of me on little bumps.
It would improve alot of i had a double shock set-up on the front end. As
it sits right now i do not believe the single shock set-up is suffucient to
dampen the rebound. Compression is fine but the bars really put the A-arms
down with a little too much umph! and no, i do not have the bars cranked. I
am running at about stock height. I expect my torsion bars to be up for
sale this coming fall as i make a trip to the DARK SIDE.
