I just recently heard a rumor that I thought I should share with all of you,
since a lot of you use the Rubicon Trail. I live near the Jeeper's Jamboree
headquarters, and have heard some startling news from let's just say, "a
reliable source."

Jeeper's Jamboree (Jeep Jamboree USA) is planning on taking a skidder (a
logging tractor) up to Little Sluice, and planning on clearing out all of the
boulders in Little Sluice, so that they can take their stock TJ's through it.
Apparently, they are planning on doing this sometime after the snowmelt. I
for one, find this APPALLING! What do you guys think about this? Am I the
only one that thinks they shouldn't be able to alter a trail that they
themselves rate as a '10' on a scale from 1-10? Check it out for yourself:

It's the highest on their scale.... And they want to pave it... And when I
say pave it, I mean it literally.. It wouldn't suprise me to see them pour
concrete in there, like they did on Cadillac Hill, etc.... etc... What do you
guys think?
