New throttle body setup (22RE)

Anyone have any tips on setting up the idle air valve on a new throttle body?
I've looked in the Toyota repair manual and they only mention setting a
specific idle speed after everything else is set.

What I'm looking for is some place to start with, like "all the way in and two
turns back".
I did try setting it like my old one, but that didn't seem to be correct (that
was about 4 turns out).
