The shocks are 9179 and I have touched the driveshaft already. It was light,
but a stripe nonetheless. I am avoiding spending too much more on this
suspension. I plan to convert it to leaf springs in the future.

Here's the lengths compared.
RS9009 EXT=26.78 COMP=15.67
RS9179 EXT=22.95 COMP=13.95
I guess a little more compression allows it to hit the tank.

If I can't find a used bracket I'll probably buy one from Downey. They are
telling me I need the lower bumpstops to go with it. That doesn't make any
sense at all.
