Mike, I bought Jay's complete third member with a Downey (Toshiki-Fuji)
LSD and 4.88 gears. It had many miles on it when I bought it but I have
experienced the same characteristics as you. On the rocks, I get very
little, if any, slip. The snow is another story altogether. In snow/ice,
it acts like an open differential until I manipulate it with the parking
brake. No real complaints though. I thought it would be a temporary
thing and that I would install an ARB or a Detroit eventually. I might
just keep it and throw some new bearings in it and spend the "locker
money" on the front.

Okay, I gotta get back to work now :)
