sporadic miss

I recently have done some work to my 22Re, new cam, header, exhaust,
injectors and a new rebuilt head with new performance valve springs.

I am experiencing a sporadic miss above 2000 rpm.

It did this before all the engine work, I attributed it mostly to a bad
rebuild head I bought 2 years age when I rebuilt the whole thing. the valves
we not sealing very well and the compression was down as a result.
Compression was down to 155 on one cyl, 160 on another.

With the new rebuild and all the goodies, I am glad to say it has much more
power, and runs much better, but the miss is still there and annoying if
nothing else,
I know it should do better.

This miss is not present during acceleration, or under load, just at cruise
and unloaded sustained high rpm starting about 2000 rpm, and continues up
through 3000+ ( about all I am willing to spin it with out a load) . There
is no rhythm to it, and I have hooked a timing light to each cyl and there
is no skip in the flash when this happens.

Current compression is 170+ all across, timing is dead on( 5deg BTDC,
diagnostic lead shorted ) , even advanced it a bit to see if that helped.

I have turned the AFM up 3 clicks rich, changed the plugs, all ignition
components ( wires, cap, rotor, coil) even swapped in my spare igniter just
for grins, hoping that would help. No dice, still misses.

Running NGK plugs, BPR5ES I believe, after 1500 miles they have a light
brown coating on the electrodes, which to me says it is burning about right.

The goodies list includes: LC Engineering EFI pro cam, LC Street pro Valve
springs, LC Street pro header, new converter ( 2" in and out ) 2¼" off the
converter through a Flowmaster and out behind the wheel well. Accel 8.8
Spiral Core wires, Toyota Cap and Rotor, Accel Super Stock Coil, and a K&N
drop in filter. The injectors are new replacement Nippondenso ( not
rebuilt ) , bought through LC.

Any body got any ideas ? The motor runs great other than this problem.
Sounds good too !
