JPOR: first leaf conversion snag - How much spring "offest" is ok.

I bolted the axle onto the stock YJ front leafs, using the stock LCA
bracket as the rear leaf mount.

Interstingly, this results in increasing the wheelbase about 4" - it now
measures 105.5".

problems include

1) driveshaft too short
2) no place to mount lower end of shocks
3) possible inteference between left U-bolts and track bar frame bracket

4) steering doesn;t look good
5) wheel nowhere near centered in wheel well.

It seems, the easiest solution (I REALLY want to keep using the LCA
bracket) is to offset drill the centering pin in the leafs.

I know Waggy's have this stock - but how much is OK 2, 3, 4 inches ??

What do you think?
