Paul, look up the Warn page and look for axle shafts.  They have a good
list of different shaft lengths.  The Pre '80 FSJ shafts with the diff
on the passengers side are about 1" shorter on the short shaft and 1"
longer on the long shaft as compared to the newer diffs with the drivers
side pumpkin if I recall correctly.  Jeff
