JPOR: need help with engine conversion (fwd)
A local friend has this question:

Does anybody sell conversion mounts? I didn't see anything from MORE.
I compared my 4-cyl with another friend's 6-cyl. The 6-cyl's driver side
mount is 5" farther forward than the 4-cyl's, and the passenger side is
4" farther forward. This seems to me like the 6-cyl oil filter will
interfere with the 4-cyl's frame-side motor mount if it's left in place.
Is the best solution just to cut the mount off the frame and weld it
on the new location?

Yeah, it's about the 4x4s, but it's really the people
