Dave, either I am confused or you are. The hubs on the 8 lug 44 I have are
external like a 6 bolt CJ or Scout hub, but bigger than the CJ hub. They are
held on by 8 9/16ths bolts. Not internal like F150 hubs. It also has a
different spline count that the internal  on the axle shaft.
