JPOR: wheels and tires

it came with 225/70x16. my choices are between
dayton, bridgestone, and firestone. (ok i admit
it, i work for firestone. even worse, i'm a tire
inspector.) anyway, from looking at their charts
and such, i am considering the firehawk rmt,
245/75x16. actual measurements are 30.7x 9.8.
there are some other choices in 255/70 x16 but i
am afraid these may be too wide. (actual
measurement 30.1x 10.2)
another consideration to keep in mind is these
tires will only be run a short time, then i'm
selling wheels/ tires to my sister in law with a
'95 wrangler. they must fit a stock yj as well.

just bought an '01 jeep tj. i work for a tire
manufacturer and we have an exchange program, when
an employee purchases a new vehicle they will swap
out the tires for our brand. my question is what
is the largest tire that will fit a bone stock tj?
to throw a wrench into the equation, it also came
from the factory with 16" wheels. anybody have any
suggestions?
