Mike,
A guy here in Minnesota used to run this exact combination in the front of his
CJ. So if it fits in a cj it will fit in a yj. He ran a 727 behind his with a
dana 20 transfercase out of a scout. After scrounging the correct pieces it all
just bolted togther. But he pulled it out this last year in its place he put a
350 chevy. The 440 he said just weighed to much and put to much weight over the
front axle. He likes the 350 much better.
