Re: JPOR: Mopar 440 big block in a YJ?
It should be pretty easy to adapt a T-18 to just about any rear wheel
drive manual tranny bellhousing from the '60s or '70s. The main thing is
to get the index hole size matched to the input bearing retainer size.
This can be done by machining the input bearing retainer, boring out the
hole in the bellhousing or sleeving the hole in the bellhousing. Drill
and tapping the proper mounting holes in the bellhousing would complete
the job for most vehicles.
