Whew, right over the head, nothing but net!  I don't have the axle right
now, but if I get it back this winter, I'll take a look at it.

		Well, if you convert to discs, the flage would stay put,
right?
		And depending on backing plate design, it _may_ take single
wheel brakes &
		drums with no change in flange location... a lot of dually
brakes space inward,
		so the backing plate's surface where the shoes ride is
inboard of the spindle
		mounting surface, where most single wheel backing plates are
parallel (or a lot
		closer to it than most of the duallies are)
