JPOR: Ford 9" Disk Brake Conversion
> This is a conversation that could go on for a really long time
Actually, I'm done :-) Time for a new topic... sort of.
Have any of you done a non-bolt-on, non-aftermarket-parts
disk brake swap on a Ford 9"? I've gone through some of
the Bronco sites and read up on a few methods of doing it,
but haven't found anything I really like.
I'm looking for a way of doing the swap that doesn't require
modification of the shaft or rotor, since those are both
parts that may be replaced (wear/breakage) in the future.
Possibly far from home or shop facilities, with no spares
on hand, if Murphy has his way...
Anybody found a way to do this where the only modifications
needed are to the brackets - or none at all?
