RE: JPOR: J Dana 60/70
for $180 US, I would laugh every time my D70 hit a rock.
besides, it's 1/2 of an inch. 13 millimeters. .00000789 miles.
you can't *honestly* tell me you'd turn down what is basically a $90 axle
because it causes you to lose the ground clearance equivalant to what I trim
off of my fingernails once a month.
and I'm not accusing anyone of doing this (well, not outright) but from now
on, when people quote tech articles from a magazine, indirectly or not,
please follow it with a foot note showing mag. title, article title, date,
and author. :-)
Remember, alot of what goes into those mags is the author's personal
opinion. I've seen tech articles denocuncing the D35 as barely worthy as
landfill. Then, a feature Jeep in the same issue has a D35 and 36" swampers
which is "just fine".
sorry if I'm a little irritable this morningI've only had 3 of my usual 5
cups of coffee so far :-)
