JPOR: Stroker (how?) or360?



The last factory piece of my 94yj drivetrain spat its guts out on the way to
the Dixie Run.  I was on the highway when my oil pressure went to zero.  Any
oil I put in poured out the back of the engine.  The wrecker driver told me
that the crank had come out of the back of the engine.  Seems like a bad
thing.

I recal hearing that the 4.0 I-6 can be rebuilt with the 4.2 I-6 parts,
making it a stroker.  Has anyone done this, or know of a page that would
provide some guidance?

I have also heard that the 360 shares the I-6's bolt pattern.  Would my D44
front tolerate such a jump in horsepower?
