Re: JPOR: Jeep tools
A die grinder. I have had a couple of cut off wheels and think that the cut
off wheel alone is worth buying an air compressor. What I'm looking for is
a good die grinder. I have a cheapy Cambell Hausfield and a not-so cheapy
Craftsman die grinders and they're both seriously lacking in power. I've
found out (the hard way) that cheap tools are worth substantially less than
what you pay for them. A difference very well illustrated by using a C-H
impact gun and a quality Craftsman gun (re-labeled Ingersol Rand?). So I
guess my question really is whether my expectations of how a die grinder is
supposed to work way too high or are the ones I'm using just crappy tools?
Do they perhaps need more air volume than my compressor can give (7.0 SCFM @
90PSI)?
