RE: JPOR: YJ won't start
The high pitch squeal is probably caused from the belts hardening over the
past year. You may want to change them.

Subject: JPOR: YJ won't start

Hey everyone,
I sadly had to leave my 89 YJ (2.5L, 4 cyl) sitting in my garage for the
past
year as I went to college. So I've come back now and not surpassingly, it
wont start. I found that the battery was dead so I've replaced that. I've
also changed the oil. When I try to start it, it will turn over but it
makes
a loud high pitched squeal. I can't figure out if its coming from the
engine
or the fan or belts. Please help. Thanks.
Steve
