RE: JPOR: painting cast iron Dan300

Thanks, I'll have to give it a try. How would it be for an exterior body
paint for someone who isn't too picky about having a totally spartan
vehicle?

I've heard nothing but rave reviews about POR-15, but I've
only ever seen it on the shelves here in Canada once, and that
was in a specialty paint store in a town about 500kms from here!

Here in BC, Hammerite's carried by General Paint, which is a
big household paint chain - they just happen to carry this
stuff as well. According to www.hammerite.com, the stuff
should be available through Ace Hardware, Truserv, Home Base,
Eagle Hardware and selected Home Depot Stores, down there in
the US.

The stuff comes in spray cans as well as quart and gallon cans,
though I've always brushed it on to reduce the mess.
