If you did that, you'd need to increase the size (diameter) of the line
going to the 'T' on the axle so as to keep the same volume, no?  I thought
the manufacturers ran individual lines down each side for the front because
of the disks' need for volume.  My '70 & '74 Broncos used to have a setup
like you describe, but they were drum brakes up front.
