RE: JPOR: Brake lines
Soft lines, even short ones are expensive. Run longer hard lines from
proportioning valve then connect to the longer early Blazer soft lines like
John recommends. I did this on my D44/YJ setup. My hard lines stick out of
inner fender a couple of inches near the frame. The 'tab' on the soft-line
is welded to shock tower. Kinda messy, but nothing has hit it, yet!

How about running short hoses from the caliper to the axle
tube (to allow for
steering), then run hard line across the axle with a "T"
block in the middle
and a single hose up to the front cross member... similar to
a rear axle. Then
you only need one long hose and it probably wouldn't even
have to be as long as
ones needed if you were plumbing it the way you currently
are.
