Re: JPOR: Grinding away at an Axle.
Jefe,
I am doing this as we speak. The easiest way is to
grap the knuckles and spindles together, and the Rotor
with Hubs/bearings together. For the Knuckle and
spindel I have heard 72-76 Chevy or FSJ but would
stick with 1974 if you can. For the Bearings, Hubs
and rotor grap Ford (for the 5 on 5.5" bolt pattern).
Not sure of the years, have heard 78-92 work.
I have 74 Chevy knuckles & Spindels with 79 Ford
hubs, rotor and bearings and every thing works. I
have a spare set of hubs from a 78 Ford and everything
works with them. Good Luck
