Yes, I think it's a good price.
Yes, a rear D44 carrier will work in it, with reverse cut gears, of course...
as long as it's not a carrier from a ZJ/WJ (Isuzu?) aluminum Dana 44. (I hear
Isuzus come in both iron and aluminum, so I would guess their aluminum versions
would be similar to the Jeep one in this area.)
