That's probably for the best, 'cause I really don't
like them.  So far they've held up okay, but they'll
be getting completely redone when I replace the Jeep's
rusty frame this fall or next spring.  I'll probably
do something using the factory 'stang mounts as well,
but with some nice thick square tubing down to the
frame, and some extra plating around the frame where
they attach.  Not sure if they'll bolt or weld to
the frame, yet.

is the 3/8 steel you used just a single piece of bent
flat stock, or is it c-channel or tubing?  Is it the
steel or the mounts that are too soft?
