Hadn't thought about the switch. Good call. I'll try to check on
that tomorrow night. Gotta go play pool tonight with a friend who's
in town.
If I was to remove the starter & set it on a bench where I can watch
it, then use jumper cables to connect the starter directly to the
battery terminals, should it spin, or does the solenoid do other
funky stuff besides just switch on the electricity? I tried that,
and got a small spark when I attached the pos connector to the
starter, but nothing turned or made any noise.
